30D foam steps in 3, 4 or 5 steps, standard or extra wide
Our most popular steps, rated for dogs up to 35 pounds. Choose the count by the height of the furniture: 3 steps for a sofa or low bed up to about 18 inches, 4 for a standard bed, 5 for a tall one. The extra wide version gives a hesitant dog more tread to stand on.
The foam is 30D with a support board inside, so the steps keep their shape under daily use, and the fleece cover comes off for the washer. Folded down, the stairs double as a small bed.

Measure the height of the bed or sofa from the floor to the top of the mattress or cushion.

Pick the step count whose top step sits just under that height.

Push the stairs flush against the furniture so there is no gap at the top.
The AKC suggests stairs for small dogs that take a running leap onto the sofa and for older dogs that still have their balance, with deep, anti-skid steps. For breeds at risk of disc disease, Cornell advises fewer jumps off the bed.
