Straight, curved and railed foam steps, sized by the height of your bed or sofa.
Choose stairs by the height of the furniture, not by the dog. Measure from the floor to the top of the mattress or the seat cushion, then pick the step count whose top step sits just below it: three steps for a sofa, four for a standard bed, five for a tall one.
Then pick the shape. Straight steps take the least floor space, the curved ones make each rise lower and each tread longer, and the railed steps add a guard at the top. Every set has a fleece cover that comes off for the wash.
